About Tony France

With over 30 years of experience in the water management industry and nearly a decade as a franchisor General Manager, I have dedicated my career to helping businesses grow, succeed and complete their business life with a successful business sale. My focus is now on both empowering motivated business owners through leadership in franchising and specialised business brokering.

As General Manager of Diggermate Franchising, I lead and support a growing network of franchisees in the equipment rental industry. By delivering proven systems, strategic guidance, and practical tools, I enable franchisees to achieve their business goals and thrive in a competitive market.

My franchising expertise was honed during my time as General Manager of Think Water, where I spent over 7 years building a team to lead the operations and growth of an international network of independently owned businesses in the water management industry. This experience gave me deep insight into franchise systems, business development, fostering collaborative relationships with franchisees to drive mutual success and the challenges of completing a successful succession plan.

Adding the role of Business Broker, specialising in the pumping and irrigation sector, I leverage my extensive industry knowledge and franchising background to assist business owners in navigating acquisitions, sales, and growth opportunities with confidence and clarity.

My career began with over 30 years at Grundfos, the global leader in pumping solutions, where I gained broad business experience managing dynamic teams, driving innovation, and delivering results in both retail and project sectors.

I am passionate about helping businesses unlock their full potential and maximise their reward in the final stages of business ownership. Whether through franchising or brokering opportunities in the pumping and irrigation industries, my mission is to work with great people in great industries to build exceptional businesses and maximise the final stage of succession planning.
